Keychron’s V6 Ultra Hybrid is officially live, and it’s one of the more interesting keyboard releases this year. It’s a full-size hybrid keyboard that lets you run magnetic TMR switches and traditional mechanical switches on the same board, whichever works best per key.
What makes it different
Until now you had to pick: a mechanical keyboard with satisfying typing feel for work, or a magnetic keyboard with rapid trigger and adjustable actuation for gaming. Keychron’s V6 Ultra Hybrid kills that tradeoff with their Nova Socket architecture, which accepts both standard MX-style mechanical switches and analog magnetic switches on the same PCB.

Who it’s for

Same board, same setup, no switching peripherals between work and play.
Pricing and availability
It’s launching via Kickstarter with early bird pricing rumored between $109 and $199. Full pricing should land once the campaign goes live.
