Razer just unveiled the Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz line, their first proper Hall effect keyboard. They were the last big holdout on magnetic switches, so this is a pretty big deal.
Quick rundown:
- Razer’s first magnetic (Hall effect) switch board
- 8,000Hz HyperPolling
- Includes a Mini 65% model
- Adjustable actuation and rapid trigger
- Pricing reportedly undercuts the existing Huntsman V3 Pro line
Why this matters Wooting kicked off the HE trend, then Keychron, the budget brands, and Lenovo all jumped in. Razer stuck with their analog optical switches for years. Now they’re finally in with magnetic switches and apparently coming in cheaper than their own Pro boards while doing it. That’s basically the last major holdout falling. The magnetic switch wars are over, everyone’s in. Reviews are already up from Hardcore Gamer, GamingTrend, and others.

Anyone tried the Huntsman V3 HE yet? How does it compare to Wooting and Keychron’s HE boards?
